Airstyler 5-in-1 vs. Philips Airstyler: The best choice

Are you looking for the best choice for an airstyler? The MAE Airstyler 5 in 1 is a good option to consider. The Airstyler 5 in 1 is a styling tool that allows you to do anything with your hair. In this blog, we compare the MAE Airstyler 5 in 1 with the Philips Airstyler.

Voordelen van de Airstyler 5 in 1

The Philips Airstyler

Philips offers several airstyler variations. The most well-known is the Philips Hairdryer Brush, which comes with multiple attachments. The attachments include:
- Concentrator nozzle
- Flat straightening brush
- Round brush
- Volumizer
- Heated round brush

With the Philips hairdryer brush, you can dry and style your hair simultaneously.

Review: Philips Airstyler 3000

A popular hairdryer brush from Philips is the Philips Airstyler 3000, also known as the BHA305/00. Unlike other airstylers, this version has only three attachments:
- Concentrator nozzle
- Round brush
- Heated round brush

The unique feature of the Philips Airstyler 3000 is the brush with retractable bristles, which functions as both a hairdryer brush and a curling iron. However, in practice, this attachment doesn't seem to produce a significantly different effect than the regular round brush. The curl is just as tight and doesn't last as long.

The Philips Airstyler 3000 is an option if you're looking for a hairdryer brush, but if you want tighter curls that last longer, we recommend an alternative, namely the MAE Airstyler.

Review: Philips Airstyler HP8656

Besides the Airstyler 3000 from Philips, the HP8656 is another well-known hairdryer brush. This one has more attachments, specifically five. These are similar to the variant described above, with the addition of a volumizer and a flat brush.

The volumizer genuinely creates a lot of volume in the short term, but unfortunately, it tends to deflate quite quickly. The flat brush is a good addition if you're looking to style natural hair. This attachment functions effectively as a straightener.

The Philips Airstyler HP8656 is a better option than the cheaper Philips variant, but it doesn't fully replace the function of a true curling iron.

MAE Airstyler 5 in 1 vs. Philips Airstyler: The Difference

In summary, both products are good choices. If you are purely looking for a hairdryer brush, the Philips variants are a good option. If you want more options and to create different styles, we recommend the Airstyler 5 in 1 from MAE. The advantages of the MAE Airstyler are:
