What if I'm not satisfied?

If you are not satisfied, you can make use of our 30-day cooling-off period. If you are still within your 30-day cooling-off period (from the order date), you can return the hairdryer free of charge. Please note: the hairdryer must be returned in its original packaging and without signs of use. Once we have received the hairdryer in good order, your money will be refunded to your bank account.

If you click on the link, you can enter your order number and email address. A return label will then be sent to your email address, which you can affix to the package. The package is then ready for shipment and can be taken to a shipping point. Once we have received the package in good order, it will take 1 to 2 weeks for us to process it, and you will receive the refund within two business days to your bank account.

Does it also come with a warranty?

In addition to our 30-day cooling-off period during which you can return the hairdryer free of charge, we also offer a two-year legal warranty. If your hairdryer becomes defective, you can fill out our warranty form, after which we will process it. We will make a decision within two working days and inform you of the outcome. Customer service is our top priority. We are always ready to assist you if you have problems with the hairdryer or have any other questions.

If you experience a defect with the hairdryer, you can contact us by sending a message via the website or by emailing info@maeofficial.com. We will then help you as soon as possible by sending you the warranty form. We are happy to assist you further.

I want to return my package, how do I do this?

  • Do you want to return your hairdryer within the 30-day cooling-off period? You can easily register by clicking here. If you click on the link, you can enter your order number and email address. A return label will then be sent to your email address, which you can stick on the package. The package is then ready for shipment and can be taken to a shipping point. Once we have received the hairdryer in good order, you will receive a notification and your money will be refunded to your bank account within two working days.
  • If your hairdryer is defective, you can send us a message via the website. We will then process the warranty and give you further instructions for possibly sending in the hairdryer.

When can I expect my package?

Your package will be shipped via PostNL. If you placed an order today, you will almost always receive it the next day. This may sometimes vary, depending on PostNL.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept all common payment methods: iDEAL, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Maestro, Shop Pay and Union Pay. You can easily choose your preferred method during checkout.

Can I still cancel or change my order?

Orders are processed and shipped as quickly as possible—sometimes within a few hours. Therefore, please contact us as soon as possible via info@maeofficial.com or 085 401 9376 if you wish to make changes or cancel your order. Once a package has been shipped, we can no longer stop it. In that case, you can use our free return service.

I've given you the wrong delivery address — what now?

Please contact us as soon as possible at info@maeofficial.com or 085 401 9376. We will then try to adjust your order before it is shipped.

Can I receive an invoice?

Yes, after placing your order, you will automatically receive a confirmation email. Do you need an official invoice (e.g., for business purposes)? Please send an email to info@maeofficial.com with your order number and company details.

How do I use a discount code?

During checkout, you will find an input field for a discount code. Enter the code there and the discount will be applied immediately. Please note: discount codes cannot be combined with other promotions, unless otherwise stated.

I signed up for the newsletter but my €5 discount hasn't arrived yet—what now?

When can I expect my package?

Orders placed before 10:59 PM are shipped the same day (excluding public holidays).

Delivery times are as follows:

  • Netherlands: approx. 1–2 business days
  • Belgium: approx. 1–2 business days
  • Germany: approx. 2–4 business days

You will receive a Track & Trace code as soon as your package has been dispatched.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping within the Netherlands is free for orders over €50. For Belgium and Germany, shipping costs may apply — this will be clearly displayed during checkout.

Do you also deliver outside the Netherlands?

Yes, we deliver in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Our products are also available in the United States via our international webshop. Simply select your country in the top right corner of the website.

How can I track my order?

As soon as your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with a Track & Trace code from DHL or PostNL. This allows you to track your package at any time.

I want to return my package — how do I do this?

To return items within the 30-day cooling-off period, please visit mae.montareturns.com. Enter your order number and email address, and you will receive a free return label via email. Then, drop off the package at a parcel point. After receipt, processing takes 1 to 2 weeks, after which the amount will be refunded within two business days.

Did you purchase the hairdryer via bol.com? Then you can request the return label through your bol.com account.

Is there a warranty on the products?

Yes, all MAE products come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. Should your product become defective within this period, we will immediately send a replacement item — free of charge. Please contact us at info@maeofficial.com to submit a warranty request.

My product is not working properly anymore - what should I do?

Send an email to info@maeofficial.com with a description of the problem and your order number. We will then send you the warranty form and process it within two working days. Customer service is our number one priority.

Is wear and tear also covered by the warranty?

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults that occur under normal use. Normal wear and tear from prolonged use or damage due to improper use are not covered. Do you doubt whether your situation is covered by the warranty? Feel free to contact us; we are always happy to help.

My curls don't hold — what can I do?

Make sure your hair is 80% dry before you start. Use our Protect & Curl Mousse for extra grip and hold. Let each curl cool down before releasing the barrel, and use the cold shot function to set the curl. Still having trouble? Send us a DM on Instagram or email info@maeofficial.com — we'd be happy to help you with personalized tips.

How do I clean my Airstyler?

After use, remove any hair or product residue from the barrels and attachments. Use a soft, dry cloth or a fine brush for this. Never immerse the appliance in water. Make sure the appliance has completely cooled down before storing it.

Can I order individual attachments separately?

Yes, all attachments are available separately through our webshop under the 'Attachments' category. This allows you to expand your styling arsenal without having to purchase a completely new device.

How long is the cord and can it swivel?

The Airstyler's cord is 2.5 meters long and can swivel 360 degrees, so the cord never gets in the way while styling.

Is the Airstyler suitable for use abroad?

The Airstyler operates on 220–240V, which is the standard voltage in Europe. In countries with a different voltage (such as the US with 110V), the device cannot be used directly without a voltage converter. Always check the local voltage before taking the device with you on a trip.

What is the difference between the Airstyler II and the Airstyler Pro II?

The Airstyler Pro II has a more powerful motor than the Airstyler II, making it suitable for all hair types — including thick or difficult-to-curl hair. In addition, the Pro II features a display for temperature control, four heat settings, quieter motor noise (79 dB), a luxurious genuine leather storage box, and a rotating head for even more precise styling. The Airstyler II is the ideal entry-level choice; the Pro II is for those who want the maximum.

Is the Airstyler suitable for all hair types?

Yes, the Airstyler is suitable for all hair types. Thanks to its ion technology and multiple heat settings, you can adjust the settings to your hair: use a lower temperature for fine or damaged hair, and a higher temperature for thicker or unruly hair.

Can I use the Airstyler on wet hair?

Yes, the Airstyler can be used on both wet and dry hair. We recommend starting with clean, washed hair that is about 80% dry. Hair that is too wet can cause curls to drop out faster.

Which attachments fit my Airstyler?

The individual attachments — such as the Anti-Frizz, Extra Wide Barrels (40mm), Ceramic Barrels (30mm), Large Volume Brush, and Diffuser — are compatible with both the Airstyler II and the Airstyler Pro II. They are not compatible with other brands or older MAE models.
